She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. Uber Driver Shot Nearby Amazon Facility In Stratford, Police Say A Fairfield County man who is subcontracted for Amazon has been charged with allegedly shooting an Uber driver. The incident took in Stratford around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 in the 400 block of Long Beach Boulevard, said Capt. Frank Eannotti of the Stratford Police.
