She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Report Of Gun Leads To Arrest Of Hudson Valley Man Wanted On Felony Warrant, Police Say A Hudson Valley man has been charged with felony criminal mischief after police responded to a call for a man possibly armed with a knife or a gun. Dutchess County resident Alfredo Robles, age 19, of Beacon, was nabbed in Beacon, on Tuesday, Aug. 29 around 11 a.m. According to Lt. Thomas Figlia of the Beacon Police, officers responded to an area of Willow Street after receiving the call and located Robles who matched the description of the armed person. CT Man Charged For Making Threats Against State Police A Connecticut man has been charged with threatening state police if they came to his property. Windham County resident, Louis Santo, age 48, of Windham, was arrested by warrant on Sunday, Aug. 27, after making the threat and calling Troop K some 74 in 2023, said the Connecticut State Police. Woman Who Crashes Into Group Of People In Bridgeport Charged With DUI, Police Say A Fairfield County woman has been charged with multiple crimes including DUI after allegedly plowing into a group of people, including five children. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 7:50 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27 in the 1700 block of Central Avenue. Man Who Fatally Stabbed Fiancée, 2 Young Sons Was About To Move To Westchester, Reports Say A New York City father of two who stabbed his fiancée and two young sons to death was reportedly concerned about a move to Westchester County to take a new job, according to reports. Missing: Silver Alert Issued For 4-Year-Old Bridgeport Girl A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Fairfield County girl who has not been seen by her father for more than a year. Family Of 4 Rescued Off Capsized Boat In Long Island Sound A family of four was rescued from a capsized boat on the Long Island Sound within just minutes of their call for help. The incident took place in Northport around 8:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28.
