Carmel Man Faces DWI Charge After Southeast Arrest CARMEL, N.Y. -- Putnam County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Carmel man on charges of driving while intoxicated. David W. Churchill, 25, was traveling on Route 22 in the Town of Southeast Saturday, Nov. 21, around 3 a.m. when he was stopped by Deputy Sheriff Kevin Radovich. Police say that Churchill failed roadside sobriety tests and was charged with misdemeanor DWI. He was processed at the Putnam County Correctional Facility and held pending arraignment, police said.
