Scarsdale's Wuji Restaurant Expanding Into Rye, Greenwich
RYE, N.Y. – WUJI Restaurant made its mark on the local dining scene with its first establishment in Scarsdale earlier this fall.
The hybrid of a Chinese noodle house and dim sum palace meets tapas bar is now expanding into Rye early next month and into Greenwich, Conn., in January.
WUJI’s menu covers the waterfront with dishes based on organic chicken, pasture-raised pork, grass-fed beef, wild fish, cage-free eggs, and organic vegetables.

Mount Vernon Library Exhibit Features Work By Foster Children, Others
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – A special exhibit of art, arranged by Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, will brighten up the Mount Vernon Library’s rotunda on Thursday.
“Taking the Stage” runs from 5-7 p.m. at the library, 28 S. First St.
The social services agency provides services and support to foster kids and families, preschool children, and developmentally disabled adults.

Kent Library Offers Special Story, Craft Programs For Kids
KENT, N.Y. -- The Kent Public Library’s Miss Melanie is offering special story times and crafts during the cold months ahead.
Sessions scheduled in December are:
Snow Angel story time: For ages 1 month to 24 months. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 11:30 a.m.-noon.
Rowdy Reindeer story time: For ages 4-5 years. Thursday, Dec. 17, from 11 a.m.-noon.
Candy Cane story time: For ages 2-3 years. Thursday, Dec. 17, 1-1:30 p.m.
