Gramatan Village Elects Bronxville Woman To Board Of Directors BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Gramatan Village, a nonprofit organization serving older Bronxville-area residents, has elected a local woman to its board of directors. Joan C. Toffolone, who works in finance and marketing, has been involved in many civic and community activities, said the organization’s executive director, Julie Dalton. A “Wreaths Across America” ceremony set for noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at the cemetery. David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) joined pharmacists and health care advocates at a New City pharmacy on Wednesday, Dec. 9, to urge that the life-saving drug Naloxone be made available over the counter.Also known as Narcan, the opioid antagonist can reverse overdoses from heroin and other drugs, Carlucci said. Solimine, a CEO at Meridian Risk Management; Andrew M. Davis, of Fanwood, N.J.; and Matthew McLaughlin, of Ridgewood, N.J., are three friends who created a scholarship fund to honor another member of the Class of 1989 -- Michael R. Woman Charged With Felony DWI In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Bedford Hills woman faces DWI charges after being stopped by police Thursday on Saw Mill River Road in Yorktown. Police said they stopped Kathryn P. Russell, 43, near Broad Street about 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports of an erratic driver. Police charged Russell with driving while ability impaired by drugs, which, they said, is a Class E felony because she had had a conviction in the last 10 years.
