Bridgeport Police Seek Help In Identifying Attempted Burglary Suspects
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Several suspects in an attempted burglary are being sought by Bridgeport police, according to a report by ctpost. Security cameras at a home on Brooks Street captured the four suspects on Sunday, Jan. 17, police told the ctpost. Bridgeport Police Seek Suspect In Convenience Store Robbery

East Haven Man Arrested After Commotion At Branford Store
BRANFORD, Conn. -- An East Haven man was charged with criminal mischief after police said he ran amok in a Branford grocery store while trying to evade arrest, according to a report in MonroeCourier.com. Andrew Delillo, a 28-year-old East Haven resident who police said was suspected in a purse snatching at the Big Y, knocked over store displays as he tried to run from police on Friday, Jan. 15, MonroeCourier.com reported. Yonkers Family Searching For Their Missing Dog, Maggie
YONKERS, N.Y.-- A Yonkers family is hoping to be reunited with its missing pooch, a short-coated Wheaten Terrier named Maggie. Maggie was last seen on Mountaindale Road, near Tuckahoe Road, not far from her home, says owner Charlene Neff-Howell. Maggie was wearing a pink collar with her tag and contact information on it. SHELTON, CONN. -- Shelton students are eating up lessons on growing their own veggies, say two teachers, according to a report in the Shelton Herald. Eric Wolf and Bob Yamnicky are showing kids the ins and outs of alternative farming, taking them full-cycle from the raising of fish and quail, whose waste is used to fertilize the plants, to the actual harvesting of lettuce and other produce, the Shelton Herald story said. Shelter Seeks Information On Female Pit Bull Found In Putnam
MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A cold and skinny female pit bull was found wandering on Union Valley Road in Mahopac recently, and the Putnam Humane Society is asking for the public’s help in locating her owner. The gray-and-white dog was picked up near the road’s intersection with Teakettle Spout Road. Anyone with any information about her is asked to call the shelter at 845-225-7777. The shelter is at 68 Old Route 6, Carmel, behind the Putnam Plaza Shopping Center.
