Millerton Woman Charged With Using Friend's ID To Open Accounts MILLERTON, N.Y. -- A Millerton woman is facing felony charges after a former acquaintance accused her of trying to open up credit card accounts in his name, police said. Madison L. Marshall, 25, was arrested Sunday by state police from the Dover Plains barracks and charged with first-degree falsifying business records and second-degree identity theft. The unidentified victim told police that someone had tried to open several accounts using his name, date of birth, and Social Security number. Briarcliff Man Charged With Dwai In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Briarcliff Manor man was arrested this week after, police said, he fled the scene of a minor car accident in Yorktown. Tyler P. Curran, 26, was involved in a collision on Saw Mill River Road about 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Officers dispatched to the scene found Curran’s car a short distance away and arrested him. The arrest report did not give any details about the accident itself. The village and the U.S. Postal Service, reacting to the death of 83-year-old resident Faith Leigh, have reached an agreement that lets certain patrons move their mail boxes to their side of the street.
