NYC Man Faces Larceny Charges In Greenwich Store Robbery
GREENWICH, Conn. -- A New York City man has been arrested on a warrant in the January robbery of an office supply store in Greenwich, according to a report by The Greenwich Time.
Devon C. Fontus, 28, of Queens, N.Y., was charged Wednesday, May 18, with trying to steal gift cards at the Staples in Riverside in January, The Greenwich Time reported.
Police said that Fontus, who had unsuccessfully tried to use three credit cards to buy the items, attacked the cashier and tried to grab the gift cards from her, The Greenwich Time reported.
