Police Hunt Suspect In Fairfield Bank Robbery FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Police are looking for a lone robber who hit a Fairfield bank early Friday. The suspect, described as a black male wearing a knit cap and sunglasses, passed a note demanding money to a teller at the Webster Bank at 1177 Post Road about 9:30 a.m. Police said that the man did not appear to have a gun. A dye pack, which had been placed with the cash, exploded just as the suspect ran out of the bank, police said. It was not known if the suspect fled on foot or in a car, police said. NYC Man Faces Larceny Charges In Greenwich Store Robbery GREENWICH, Conn. -- A New York City man has been arrested on a warrant in the January robbery of an office supply store in Greenwich, according to a report by The Greenwich Time. Devon C. Fontus, 28, of Queens, N.Y., was charged Wednesday, May 18, with trying to steal gift cards at the Staples in Riverside in January, The Greenwich Time reported. 117 Million Hacked LinkedIn Emails, Passwords Posted Online LinkedIn, the business-oriented social networking service that was hacked four years ago, is warning members that more than 100 million emails and passwords may have been compromised, according to a report by multiple media outlets. According to techcrunch.com and other outlets, hackers hit the network back in 2012 and posted about 6.5 million encrypted LinkedIn passwords on a Russian forum. Moody's Upgrades Beacon's Credit Rating BEACON, N.Y. -- The city of Beacon, which is preparing to issue new notes to fund its new highway garage among other projects, has been given a higher bond rating by Moody’s, said Mayor Randy Castle. Westchester Man Apprehended After Route 9 Pursuit FISHKILL, N.Y. – A Verplanck man is facing multiple charges after he led state troopers on a lengthy and dangerous chase from Fishkill to Poughkeepsie, police said. Police said they had tried to stop Mark A. Conklin, 43, on Route 9 on Saturday, May 14, for having a window tint violation on his 1997 Honda.
