Meet The Man Behind Ridgewood's 'Shakespeare In The Park' RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ryan Pifher, the founder and artistic director of Porch Light Productions, will direct "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" Sunday, July 17, at Ridgewood's Van Neste Square. Pascack Pi-oneers Take Lego Challenge With Camp In River Vale PASCACK VALLEY, N.Y. -- The Pascack Pi-oneers first Robotics Team 1676 will be hosting a LEGO League Junior Camp at the River Vale Public Library beginning July 25.The event runs through July 29 and goes from 10 a.m. until noon. Children entering grades 1-4 are invited. Participants will build with LEGOs to meet the FLL Jr. Challenge, learn to collaborate as a team, and have fun. The fee is $75. Wilton High School Track Closed For Construction Of New Turf Field WILTON, Conn. -- The track at Wilton High School will be closed on Friday, July 15, due to the construction of a new turf field, according to the Wilton Bulletin. Bridgeport Man Sentenced To 20 Months In Drowning Death Of Friend BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A judge sentenced a Bridgeport man to 20 months in jail after the man pleaded guilty in the drowning death of a West Haven man. Richard “Ricky D” DeCarvalho, 33, of Scofield Avenue, pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment and breach of peace, according to the Connecticut Post. Wayne “Little” Bentley, 42, of West Haven died in the September, 2015 incident. Community Day Comes To Beekman On Saturday BEEKMAN, N.Y. -- Thursday is the final day to order wristbands for Beekman Community Day, which will be held on Saturday, July 16.No wrist bands can be ordered or picked up on Friday.
