Bridgeport Man Sentenced To 20 Months In Drowning Death Of Friend BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A judge sentenced a Bridgeport man to 20 months in jail after the man pleaded guilty in the drowning death of a West Haven man. Richard “Ricky D” DeCarvalho, 33, of Scofield Avenue, pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment and breach of peace, according to the Connecticut Post. Wayne “Little” Bentley, 42, of West Haven died in the September, 2015 incident.
