Officials Fear Closing Playland Pool Could Impact Low-Income Residents RYE, N.Y. -- Lower income residents in Westchester County could be adversely impacted if the pool is closed when a new company takes over operations of Rye Playland. Lohud.com reported some lawmakers are working to keep the pool open. Westchester County currently owns Playland and the pool, one of the few in Westchester County that is open to the public.
