She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Despondent Woman Ready To Jump From Bridge Saved By CT State Troopers A despondent woman contemplating jumping from a Connecticut bridge was saved by two state troopers who responded to several 911 calls. The incident occurred on the Baldwin Bridge above the Connecticut River that straddles the towns of Old Saybrook in Middlesex County and Old Lyme In New London County on Monday, Nov. 27. Man Nabbed For Using Stolen ID At Darien BMW To Buy Car, Police Say A 27-year-old man turned himself in to police on a warrant for allegedly buying a BMW using a stolen identification. Christopher Louis, of Queens, was charged on Tuesday, Nov. 11 for the incident that occurred in July at BMW of Darien. According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police, an employee from BMW of Darien reported a stolen 2020 BMW M4. The employee told officers they sold the BMW to Louis who cleared all background checks and credit checks. Woman Released By Hamas After Being Held Hostage Has CT Ties An American woman taken hostage by Hamas with family members in Connecticut has been released. Liat Beinin, age 49, was released on Wednesday, Nov. 29, the second American citizen to be released after being kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz during the Saturday, Oct. 7 terrorist attacks in Israel. She has family in New London County, according to Rep. Update: Missing Danbury Woman Found Safe, Suffering From Exposure To Weather, Police Say A Fairfield County elderly woman who was missing has been found safe. Earlier report: Have You Seen Her? Police Asking For Help Finding Missing Danbury Woman A special alert was issued and a search was underway for the woman who was reported missing from Danbury and was in need of medical care. According to Capt. Mark Williams of the Danbury Police, the woman, whose name was not released, was found around 12 p.m. on. Wednesday, Nov. 29. Willams said the woman was suffering from exposure to the weather and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Greenwich Police Looking For Walkers, Joggers Who May Have Been 'Inappropriately' Touched A Fairfield County police agency is asking residents if they have been harassed or "inappropriately" touched while walking or jogging. Former CT Police Officer Charged With Stealing $184K From PBA, Cops Say A former Connecticut police sergeant has been charged with allegedly stealing more than $184,000 from a Police Benevolent Association. New Haven County resident Peter Parks, 42, of Milford was arrested on Monday, Nov. 27 for the theft over a period of several years from the Milford PBA, Milford Police said.
