20-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Stealing Motorcycle, Police Say A 20-year-old Hudson Valley man was charged on a warrant with allegedly stealing a 2017 Honda motorcycle. Rockland County resident William Scott of Stony Point, was turned over to Stony Point Police by the Clarkstown Police Department on Friday, Nov. 24 on an active warrant. According to Lt. Gregory Becker of the Stony Point Police, Scott was wanted for stealing the motorcycle earlier this year. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and released on an appearance ticket to appear in court in December.

20-Year-Old Nabbed Driving 120 MPH In Bridgeport, Police Say A 20-year-old man was nabbed by Connecticut State Police allegedly driving 120 mph on Route 8 in Fairfield Couty. New Jersey resident Ethan Steier, of Warren in Somerset County, was clocked around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26 in a green BMW traveling in excess of 120 mph on Route 8 southbound in the area of Exit 2 in Bridgeport. Man Jumps From Bear Mountain Bridge The body of a man who jumped from the Bear Mountain Bridge has not been recovered. The incident occurred around 6:40 a.m., Friday, Nov. 24 closest to the Rockland County side. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, the man left his vehicle and walked up the bridge and jumped. Westchester County Marine Patrol responded along with the State Police Marine Unit to search for the victim. Hicks said the man's body has not been recovered as of Monday, Nov. 27. Person Kills Self At Hudson Valley Preserve, Body Found By Hiker, Police Say The body of an unidentified person who police say committed suicide was discovered by a hiker in a popular Hudson Valley nature preserve. The body was discovered in Orange County in Hamptonburgh in the Hamptonburgh Preserve around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 at the eastern bank of the Wallkill River at the end of the Hamptonburgh Trail, said Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police. Troopers responded and conducted an investigation, Nevel said. No foul play is suspected.
