Closures Announced On Wantagh State Parkway Interchange: Here's When Transportation officials have announced a new closure on Long Island’s Wantagh State Parkway meant to facilitate highway maintenance. On Thursday, Oct. 12 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Exit W4E from the northbound Wantagh State Parkway to the eastbound Southern State Parkway in Hempstead, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. 'Senseless' Hudson Valley Road Rager Sentenced After Triple-Fatal Incident: DA A 26-year-old Hudson Valley man will spend years behind bars for a road rage incident that killed three people and injured five others. Anthony Jones, age 26, of Orange County, was sentenced on Wednesday, Oct. 11 after being convicted of manslaughter and assault charges, according to the Orange County District Attorney. Home Burglars Steal Luxury Car From Driveway At Long Island Home Police are searching for a trio who broke into a Long Island home through the window and made off with the owner’s luxury car. Vulnerable Man Missing From Long Island, Last Seen At Local Airport Authorities have issued an alert for a missing Long Island man who was last seen near an airport and may need medical attention.
