A gunman accused of shooting the ex-boyfriend of a woman whose car he was riding in has been captured after nearly four months, police in Prince William County said. Michael Carlos Duncan was a passenger in a white Kia Soul when he and the driver, a woman, got into an argument with the woman's ex-boyfriend on the 14500 block of Earlham Court in Woodbridge on Oct. 16, 2023, county police said. A 21-year-old Washington D.C. car thief was arrested after leading police on a brief foot chase in Virginia, authorities said. Keonte Marshall was behind the wheel of the stolen car spotted by an officer in Arlington on 10th Street N. at Wilson Boulevard around 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, Arlington County police said. The driver stopped the vehicle as per officers' instructions, but Marshall fled the car on foot, police said. A 46-year-old Warrenton man has been arrested for threatening to bomb a Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative building, police said. Damien Michael Brockway was on the phone with NOVEC around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 12 when he became upset and threatened to bomb the building on Balls Ford Road in Manassas, Prince William County police said. While investigating the incident, officers identified Brockway and determined there was no active threat. Fatal Dump Truck, Van Crash Probed In Fairfax County
Police were investigating a fatal crash involving a van and dump truck Wednesday morning, Feb. 14 in Fairfax County. It happened at the intersection of Route 1 and Giles Run in Lorton, police said at 7:15 a.m. A male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information was provided.

A multi-vehicle crash tied up I-95 in Fairfax County Wednesday morning, Feb. 14. It happened on the southbound side in Franconia at mile marker 173, the VDOT website said. Two people have died in a stabbing-turned officer-involved shooting in Prince William County Tuesday, Feb. 13, authorities said. Police were called to a home on the 7000 block of Infantry Road in Manassas around 3:30 p.m., where two people had been stabbed, county police said.
