Wintry weather will become snow in parts of Pennsylvania and northern Maryland Tuesday, Dec. 5, the National Weather Service says.
The Alberta Clipper formed in the Midwest on Monday, Dec. 4, and will exit over the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday night, Dec. 5, AccuWeather reports.
According to the NWS' Pittsburgh station, a wintry mix is expected sometime later this morning and through the afternoon, before all precipitation turns to snow.

12-Year-Old Newark Boy Missing For Almost Two Weeks: Police
Brayden Killings, a 12-year-year-old Newark boy has been missing since Friday, Nov. 17, police said.
Killings, who was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and oppositional defiant order, was last seen on the 100 block of Badger Avenue at 11 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said.
He is 4'9" and weighs 90 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, Fragé said. He was last seen wearing gray jeans, a gray hoodie and white and gray sneakers, Fragé said. He is a frequent runaway, Fragé said.

Snow Flurries Possible This Evening In Parts Of North Jersey
Wintry weather may be working its way through parts of North Jersey later today, Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The National Weather Service was predicting up to a 40 percent chance of flurries in the northern and westernmost parts of the state in the late afternoon and evening hours.
Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris, Union, Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon counties could all see snow through the evening, according to the NWS.
The greatest chance of snow is in Sussex County, where the NWS predicted a 40% chance of flurries before 5 p.m.

A coastal storm intensifying in the mid-Atlantic will bring widespread rain with sleet and snow in some interior locations in the Northeast at the tail end of Thanksgiving weekend, affecting travel.

With just one week remaining in the 2023 hurricane system, forecasters are monitoring a system that could form in the Atlantic.
