Powdery Substance Found During Hudson Valley Arrest Found To Contain Fentanyl, Police Say A white powdery substance found during the arrest of a 37-year-old Hudson Valley man led to police contacting a special hazardous materials team for testing. Former Norwalk School Bookkeeper Stole $35K, Police Say A former Fairfield County school bookkeeper has been charged with felony larceny after allegedly stealing more than $35,000, police said. Marilyn Knox, age 67, of Norwalk, was charged on Wednesday, Aug. 30, for stealing money while employed at Brien McMahon High School. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski, of the Norwalk Police, on Tuesday, June 20, the Norwalk Public Schools contacted the Norwalk Police Department regarding a previously employed staff member who committed thefts over an extended period of time. Hudson Valley Man Admits Stalking, Beating Ex-Girlfriend, DA Says A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to stalking and criminal contempt on the first day a jury trial was set to begin. Orange County resident Raymond Brown Jr., age 50, of Newburgh, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Aug. 29, in Ulster County Court. According to the Ulster County District Attorney's Office, the indictment charged Brown with repeated and numerous threatening text messages he sent to the victim, a former girlfriend. New Info Released: Shooting Of CT 20-Year-Old Who Tried Entering Wrong Home Deemed Justifiable Officials in South Carolina have deemed the shooting death of a Connecticut college student justifiable after he attempted to enter the wrong home. New Update: Missing 4-Year-Old Bridgeport Girl, Mother Found Safe, Father Under Arrest A 4-year-old Fairfield County girl who was reported missing by her father after not seeing her for more than a year has been found safe. According to Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran, Aliyah Serrano, and her mother, 33-year-old Valery Colon, have been located outside the State of Connecticut.
