Two Long Island Teens Charged With Harassing, Beating Another Juvenile, Police Say
Two Long Island teens were charged after they reportedly harassed and beat another juvenile at an area park.
The incident took place around 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 6 at Azalea Park in Levittown.
According to detectives, three males were involved in an altercation at Azalea Park on the corner of Azalea Road and Hilltop Road.
Upon arrival, police were informed that a 17-year-old boy, was struck several times in the abdomen, head, and face, by another teen, Nassau County police said.

Norwalk Teacher Accused Of Abusing Student, Police Say
A Fairfield County teacher has been arrested for allegedly abusing a student by knocking him out of a chair and dragging him.
The arrest took place in Norwalk at West Rocks Middle School on Thursday, June 16.
New Haven County resident, York Mario, age 61, of Orange, was arrested following an investigation that was initiated in Nov. 2021, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police Department.

A Hudson Valley New York National Guard member and well-respected county employee died from complications suffered during a bicycle accident. He was 29.
Dutchess County native Patrick Ian Sullivan, of Poughkeepsie, died on Wednesday, July 6 at MidHudson Regional Hospital.
Sullivan, who was employed by the Dutchess County Department of Public Works as a bridge maintainer, was born in Poughkeepsie on March 17, 1993, in the middle of a snowstorm, his obituary said.
