Safe, Healthy Homes Focus of Port Chester Housing Summit PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Port Chester residents and others seeking ways to make their homes safer and healthier are invited to attend a housing summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Former Norwalk Rep. Cafero To Run Wine And Spirits Wholesalers NORWALK, Conn. – Former House GOP leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. of Norwalk soon will uncork a new career at a major trade association. The Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of Connecticut announced recently it has tapped Cafero as its new executive director and general counsel. He starts July 1. Operation Prom Seeks Westchester Students For Board Positions NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle-based Operation PROM is seeking eight student candidates for two-year terms on its student board. The nationally recognized organization has given away thousands of free dresses and tuxedos to teens who cannot afford formal wear for their proms. It also provides school supplies and scholarships. Artist Margaret Wirtenberg To Show Works At Weston Senior Center WESTON, CONN. – A retrospective of artist and Weston resident Margaret Wirtenberg’s works will be on display at the Weston Senior Center through the end of June. An artist from a very young age, Wirtenberg started by drawing portraits of friends and neighbors in pastel. She later took up oil painting and sculpture.
