Mercy College Christens Hudson Hall, Its Newest Residence Complex DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy College’s new 350-bed residence hall complex is officially open for business.The new building opened its doors to students, alumni, faculty, staff, politicians, neighbors and friends of the College on Friday, Dec. 18. At the ribbon cutting, the new residence hall’s name was also unveiled -- Hudson Hall. Hundreds turned out for the standing-room-only event. Calling All Sherlocks: Staatsburg Historic Site To Host 'Holiday Whodunit' STAATSBURG, N.Y. -- The Staatsburg State Historic Site will present a “Holiday Whodunit” from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 27. During the one-hour, interactive “history mystery,” costumed interpreters roam the Beaux-Arts Mills Mansion to provide children with clues so they and their families can solve the “crime.” All children who submit a guess as to “whodunit” will be entered in a drawing for a prize awarded at the end of the season, when the solution is finally revealed.
