Port Chester Mourns Passing Of Longtime Trustee PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Flags were being flown at half-staff in Port Chester this week in honor of longtime trustee Saverio “Sam” Terenzi, who died Tuesday. According to the village, Terenzi died at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut after a brief illness. He was first elected to the Port Chester Board of Trustees in 1988 and served two terms as village trustee until 1994. Terenzi was then twice re-elected as village trustee in 2010 and in 2013 and has been a seated trustee since, the village said. Thieves Hit Apple Store In Greenwich, Steal Four Laptops GREENWICH, CONN. – Thieves made off with four laptop computers from the Apple Store in downtown Greenwich on Monday, Jan. 4, according to a report in the Greenwich Time. Greenwich police told the Greenwich Time that two suspects disabled the locking mechanisms in the store’s display and walked out with their loot. The Apple heist is only one of a rash of pricey thefts in the area, the Greenwich Time reported. In November, a herd of furs was lifted from Saks Fifth Avenue, the Greenwich Time said.
