Son Charged In Stabbing Death Of Yonkers Woman YONKERS, N.Y. -- A homeless Yonkers man has been charged in the stabbing death of his mother during a quarrel Saturday, according to a report on lohud.com Dawne McCray, 50, was found dead in her apartment at the Schlobohm Houses on Schroeder Street, the lohud story said. Charlie Ross, 61, is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes, the Sheriff’s Office said. He is known to frequent the Spring Valley area, police said.
