Thieves Hit Greenwich Ralph Lauren, Make Off With Thousands In Merchandise GREENWICH, CONN. -- More than $10,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Ralph Lauren store in downtown Greenwich, according to Greenwich Time. Bridgeport Promotes Police Officer Who Was Fired, Re-Hired BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Bridgeport police officer, who had been fired and then re-hired, has been promoted to sergeant, according to a report in the ctpost. Suffern Man Charged With Credit Card Theft SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A 24-year-old Suffern man wanted on charges of possession of stolen property has been arrested, police said. Michael Saul's arrest stems from the theft of a credit card from a car parked in the Bon Aire section of the village in May, according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page. Brewster Man Charged With Driving While Impaired In LaGrange LAGRANGE, N.Y. -- A Brewster man faces misdemeanor charges of driving while impaired by drugs in LaGrange, state police said. John P. Covais, 37, was stopped Wednesday on Route 55 in LaGrange by troopers from the Poughkeepsie barracks, police said. Police said that Covais was pulled over for failing to stay in his lane. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs at the time, police said. Covais was ticketed and ordered to appear in the LaGrange Town Court on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Cortlandt Man Charged With DWI After Rollover Crash CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A Cortlandt man faces charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated after he rolled his car on Old Locust Road, state police said. Terrance C. Bowdren, 43, was arrested Wednesday and charged with the misdemeanor by troopers investigating the one-car crash, police said. Police said Bowdren was given a breath test in the field that revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. He was ticketed and ordered to appear in the Cortlandt Town Court on Monday, Jan. 25, police said.
