Chappaqua School District Vows To Remain Cutting Edge
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Chappaqua school officials said that their goal of maintaining an innovative learning environment for students will not be deterred by the constraints of the state tax cap, according to a report in theexaminernews.com.
The Board of Education recently vowed to pursue capital projects, such as the upgrading of learning spaces at the Robert E. Bell and Seven Bridges middle schools by 2018, theexaminernews.com story said.

'Peggy' Jay Chosen as New Canaan's 2015 Realtor Citizen of the Year

Rockland Executive Ed Day Reads To New City Third-Graders
NEW CITY, N.Y. -- New City third-graders were entranced by Rockland County Executive Ed Day’s rendition of a colorful children’s book this week, say Clarkstown school officials.
Day, as part of the district’s “Pick a Reading Partner” program, read Drew Daywait’s “The Day the Crayons Came Home,” on Wednesday, Jan. 20, to teacher Rachel Megdal’s class at the New City Elementary School.
