Matthew R. Herring, 22, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 2, after a one-car crash on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls, state police said. Nicole Benjamin, 20, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Saturday, Feb. 6, police said. Police said Benjamin had pot and cocaine in her possession. She was arrested and held at the Rockland County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail, police said. Benjamin is due back in court on Wednesday, Feb. 10, police said.
