Two From Nanuet Charged With Roxicodone Possession In Hillcrest RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A drug suspect had to be taken to the hospital this week after he secreted narcotics “in a body cavity,” Ramapo police said. The unnamed man was arrested about 9 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop on Route 45 in Hillcrest, police said. The driver and his passenger, ages 23 and 25 and both from Nanuet, were searched and found to be in possession of Roxicodone, a highly addictive opioid, police said. Three Norwalk Residents Arrested In Big Heroin Bust NORWALK, Conn. -- Close to 500 bags of heroin were seized during a police raid of a Norwalk home where several children were living, according to a report by the Connecticut Post. The three people arrested as part of a probe by the Statewide Narcotics Task Force Southwest Office into heroin trafficking were, according to the Connecticut Post report: Sylvester Edward, 27; Michael Ross, no age given; and Tanisha Edward, 29. New York Now Within Range Of Zika Mosquito, CDC Says Could mosquitoes that carry Zika, the scary virus that has been linked to birth defects, be coming to the region? New maps, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, show that the range of Aedes aegypti is a lot farther north than previously estimated.
