The $150, 207,366 spending plan represents a $2,159,286, or 1.46 percent, increase over the current budget of $148,048,080. The board acted on the plan at its April 18 meeting. The budget carries a proposed tax levy of $140,142,277, which represents an increase of $883,004, or 0.63 percent. The board noted that the levy is below the state tax cap of 0.81 percent.
