Motorcyclist Charged With Going 133 mph On Route 7 In Brookfield BROOKFIELD, Conn. – A New York motorcyclist is facing charges of reckless driving after he was clocked doing 133 mph in Brookfield on Saturday, state police said. Andrzej Szostak, 35, of Ridgewood, blew past a state trooper on Route 7 and was passing cars on the right, state police said. He was arrested at 1:23 p.m. by the trooper at a stop light as he tried to exit the highway in Brookfield, police said. Szostak was released on $1,000 bond and is to appear in Danbury Court on Friday, May 13, police said.
