Bob Stevenson opened the shop, now on Central Avenue, in 1968, along with his partners, Ross Koenig and his wife, Patricia. The Koenigs are no longer involved in the business, the report said, although Patricia Koenig still owns the building. Ridgefield Teen Qualifies For Junior Olympics Track Meet RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Josephine Simon of Ridgefield has qualified for the National Junior Olympics Track and Field championship in the 100 and 400 meter hurdles. The competition will be held this week at Sacramento State University in California. Simon qualified by winning the Connecticut championship in both the 100 and 400 meter hurdles in June and placing third in both events at the Region 1 championship held in Albany earlier this month. Cortlandt Begins Paving, Resurfacing Of Town's Roads CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- The Town of Cortlandt announced it has started paving and resurfacing of the town's roads. Cortlandt has appropriated $1.9 million dollars to be spent from the highway fund. No bonding or borrowing was needed. The town is paying for the project with money saved in the highway portion of its budget. The town has spent $1.6 million each of the past two years in road repair.
