Dad Killed Biking To 2nd Job In Jersey City: Family Guillermo Acevedo was biking to his second job in Jersey City when he was fatally struck by a vehicle on Saturday, Nov. 4, those who knew him said. At 4 p.m., Jersey City police responded to Marin Boulevard and 16th Street where a 2018 Hyundai Elantra collided with Acevedo, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. The Orange Lantern, a Paramus watering hole known as being "the" spot to watch the big game, has been sold, Gene Faatz announced on social media on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Woman Pushed Out Of Vehicle In Jersey City: Authorities Police in Jersey City are investigating after a woman was pushed out of a vehicle Tuesday morning, Nov. 7, authorities said. The incident occurred following a dispute at Summit Avenue and Magnolia Avenue, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. The woman, a 25-year-old resident of The Bronx, was also possibly sexually assaulted after meeting with a man known to her, Wallace-Scalfione said. Man, Woman Found Dead In Vehicle: Linden PD A man and woman are found dead in a vehicle on the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 7, Linden police said. Officers responded to the 1900 block of E. Linden Avenue to check on a vehicle and found the occupants deceased, police said. The incident is being investigated by the Linden Police Detective Bureau and the Union County Homicide Task Force, police said. Detectives said they believe this was an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public.

Newark Police Seek Missing Teenage Runaway (Photo) Aaliyah Bryant, 17, has been missing from Newark since August and police are still hoping to locate her. Bryant was reporting missing on Wednesday, Aug. 30, having been last seen the day before on the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said . Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle Crossing Elizabeth Highway: Authorities A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing a highway in Elizabeth on the early morning of Tuesday, Nov. 7, authorities said. The pedestrian was crossing the 1000 block of Spring Street across the Spring Lane Motel, Ruby Contreras, the public information officer for the City of Elizabeth said.
