Bad Parking Job Leads Officers To 1,800 Ecstasy Pills, Cocaine On NY Man In NJ: Cops A 29-year-old New York resident was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in Secaucus after a police dog sniffed out large quantities of ecstasy and cocaine on him, authorities said. At 8:23 p.m., police saw Noah Gregg improperly park his 2009 Acura TL, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. The license plate affixed to his vehicle was not on file, Miller said. Newark Boys Chorus School Announces Closure It's curtains up for the Newark Boys Chorus School. In a letter sent to donors and supporters on Tuesday, Nov. 7, the school announced it is temporarily ceasing operations due to lack of funds. The tuition free school was founded in 1969 and educates boys in grades 3 to 8. The chorus has performed on six continents and at venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the White House. Community Supports North Jersey Crossing Guard Battling Stage Four Cancer Janett Balboa, a staple in the Ridgewood community, is facing the fight of her life. Balboa, a Ridgewood resident for more than 30 years who serves as a crossing guard and lunch aid in the school district, was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer at the end of last month and is undergoing chemotherapy at Hackensack Meridian Health. 16-Year-Old Killed, Two Injured In Newark Crash: Authorities A 16-year-old teenage boy was killed and two others injured after their stolen car collided with a garbage truck in Newark on Friday, Nov. 10, authorities said.
