An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Former Totowa Resident Lauren Gaeta Dies, 59 Lauren Gaeta, a Toms River resident died on Friday, Nov. 17 at the age of 59, according to her obituary. A Totowa native who was born in Pequannock Township, Gaeta moved to Toms River three years ago, her obituary reads. She loved watching people on the boardwalk, shopping at flea markets and spending time with her family, according to her obituary. Killer Who Waited On Victim's NJ Porch To Shoot Him Gets Life: Prosecutor A 55-year-old North Carolina resident was sentenced to life in prison on Monday, Nov. 20 for the June 2021 shooting death of Renown Wilson, a 55-year-old Orange resident, authorities said. Series Of Misfortune: NJ Family Displaced By Fire While Dad Battles Cancer The Piscataway community is coming together to help a family that has been put through the ringer. Sreedhar Chinnapidi, a respiratory therapist, was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing surgery and radiation. ShopRite Opens At Former Site Of Shuttered Bergen County K-Mart Attention, K-Mart shoppers in Bergen County. You have a new place to shop. ShopRite celebrated its grand opening at 180 Broadway in Elmwood Park on Friday, Nov. 17. The location is the site of a former K-Mart, which shuttered in 2018 and was completely rebuilt by ShopRite. Firefighters Battle Heavy Blaze At Skylands Stadium In Sussex County: Authorities An electrical fire caused heavy smoke as firefighters extinguished a two-alarm blaze at Skylands Stadium on Friday, Nov. 17, authorities said.
