WWE Hall Of Famer, NJ Native Tammy Sytch Gets 17 Years For Fatal DWI Crash The sunny days have turned dark for former wrestling manager Tammy Lynn Sytch. The Monmouth County native, who achieved fame in the then-WWF as Sunny in the mid-1990s, was sentenced to 17 years in prison after pleading no contest to driving drunk and killing a 75-year-old man in Florida last year. She will also serve eight years of probation after she's released from prison, CBS affiliate WKMG-TV. Too Drunk MetLife Fan Punches Nurse After Being Taken To Hospital During Giants Game: Police A 54-year-old Kinnelon resident was arrested for punching a nurse after he was taken to a hospital during the Giants game on Sunday, Nov. 26, police said. NJ Cop Airlifted In Fall From Tree Stand Suffers Broken Spine Support is on the rise for a Morris County officer who suffered a spinal injury in a fall from a tree stand, those who know him say. Mark Ehrenburg, a police sergeant in Kinnelon, was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in Blairstown on Friday, Nov. 24. Ehrenburg suffered from a broken spine and broken vertebrae and underwent surgery. He faces a lengthy rehab though doctors are optimistic he will walk again, his family said. Screwdriver Used In Assault Of 2 NJ Police Officers: Authorities Two Verona police officers were injured after a man in distress assaulted them with a screwdriver on Wednesday, Nov. 22, authorities said. Police initially responded to a home on Linn Drive and told the man, who was not named, he should seek assistance at a hospital, police said. The man became combative and began assaulting officers, police said. Driver Dies In Head-On Rt. 31 Crash In Hunterdon County: State Police (Update) A 56-year-old man was killed after his car collided with a truck on Route 31 in Hunterdon County on Monday, Nov. 27, state police said. Christopher Jones, of Hampton, was heading north in a Subaru when he entered the left lane going against the flow of traffic, and collided with a southbound Mack truck, head-on around 7:45 a.m. in Hampton near milepost 39, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Jones died in the crash while the driver and passenger of the Mack tractor suffered minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
