She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

CT 20-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of Man Found Lying In Driveway A 20-year-old Connecticut man has been charged with the murder of another man found dead in a driveway. Sahvone Valentine, of Hartford, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 12, for his involvement in the homicide of Abdul-Jalil Humphrey on Friday, July 14, in New Haven County on Hodge Avenue in Ansonia. Man Charged In Shelton Armed Robbery Outside Illegal After-Hours Club A Fairfield County man has been charged in the alleged armed robbery of another man outside of an illegal after-hours club. Marquise King, age 29, of Bridgeport was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in Shelton. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in early October, said Shelton Police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky. CT Officer Attacked, Cruiser Damaged During Street Takeover Incident, Police Say Police in Connecticut are investigating after an officer was attacked and his cruiser damaged during a street takeover event. New Haven City Employee Sent 'Suspicious' Marriage Licenses To Feds, Mayor Says A Connecticut city employee who allegedly sent what she thought were suspicious marriage license applications to federal authorities has been placed on leave. According to New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker the employee who worked in the city's Office of Vital Statistics, sent dozens of marriage licenses she thought were questionable, reported NBC Connecticut. CT Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of 14-Year-Old Girl A Connecticut man was charged by police for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old girl. Police charged New Haven County resident 49-year-old Uilton Dias of Derby with sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor on Friday, Dec. 8 in Seymour.
