Flora Aharonovitz, 90, Of Wilton
WILTON, Conn. -- Flora Aharonovitz, of Wilton, Conn., died at her home on Dec. 30. She was 90 years old.
She was born in Vienna, Austria to Wilhelm and Klara Schlittner. Her family moved to Tel Aviv, in 1935, where she became a member of the generation that built the nation of Israel. She married Mordechai Ben David Aharonovitz in 1943, and they moved to the United States in 1958.
Aharonovitz was known in the community in which she lived in Connecticut as a person who was helpful and kind to everyone she met. She is survived by her daughter, Atara Aharonovitz.
John Ward, 101, Of White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- John J. Ward Jr. of White Plains died Wednesday. Dec. 31. He was 101.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marguerite R. Ward and a devoted father of Michael (Vivian) and the late John J. Ward III. He was also the loving grandfather of Marguerite, Miriam, Matthew, Mary Kathryn and Meredith.
Visiting hours will be Friday, Jan. 9, from 5-9 p.m.at Fox Funeral Home. Mass will be on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. at Church of St. Augustine in Larchmont.

MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Dennis Edward Flick of Montrose passed away on Thursday, Dec. 18. He was 55 years old.
Dennis was born Nov. 11, 1959, to Joseph T. and Edna M. (Fisher) Flick in New York. He is survived by his beloved parents, Joseph T. and Edna M. Flick; loving brother and sister, Joseph B. (Gloria) Flick and Madeline DeBonis. He is also survived by two uncles and several nieces and nephews.

Orlando D'Angelo, 89, Of Rye, U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant
RYE, N.Y. -- Orlando L. D'Angelo of Rye passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, Dec. 31, with his family by his side. He was 89 years old.
He was born July 4, 1925, in the Bronx and was a Rye resident for 67 years. He is a graduate of Morris Park High School in the Bronx. He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was honorably discharged on July 12, 1946, and began his career as a self-employed building contractor in partnership with his brother Louis D'Angelo prior to retiring in 1987.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Frank Grimaldi passed away suddenly, but peacefully, of natural causes on Tuesday, Dec. 30, in Boynton Beach, Fla. He was 87 years old.
He was the husband of Jeanne Vitale Grimaldi. Born on April 2, 1927, Frank was a lifelong resident of Stamford, Conn.. until he retired to Boynton Beach in 1989.
