Maria Zicca, 90, Longtime Resident Of White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Maria Zicca passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 4, surrounded by her family at home. She was 90 years old.
Maria was born March 23, 1924, in Fagnano Castello, Italy. She was predeceased by her husband, Agostino Zicca Sr. She is survived by her four sons, Camillo (Susan) of Mahopac, Frank (Ellen) of Mahopac, Vinny (Pam) of Cortlandt Manor and Augie Jr. of Hartsdale; her daughter, Carmelina Zicca Stancato (Franco) of White Plains; eight loving grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Allen Richard Marshall, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, Dec. 15. He was 77 years old.
Born Jan. 30, 1937, Allen was a loving father, husband and a stranger to no one. He was born in Bridgeport. Allen was predeceased by the mother of his children, Josephine Marshall, in 1977. He is survived by his two children, Allen Marshall Jr. and Sandra Marshall Gebo; his two grandchildren, Elizabeth Marshall Simpson and Joseph Marshall; his second wife, Patricia Marshall; and his brother, Arnold Marshall of Monroe.

BRANFORD, Conn. -- Vlatko "Walt" Cukale of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Clarabelle "Claire" Benjamin Cukale, passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was 81.
Born in Bosnia, Hercegovina, to the late Stanko and Lucija Kovacevic Cukale, Walt was educated in Europe and later immigrated to the United States and had been a Bridgeport resident for many years. He had worked for the Remington Arms Co. until his retirement. He was a longtime parishoner of Holy Cross Church, where he was a member of the KSKJ Society and the Holy Cross Seniors Group.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Elaine Petrillo, formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the age of 90.
Elaine was born in New York City on May 8, 1924. She graduated from Cathedral High School and shortly after began her career with New York Telephone Co. Elaine continued to work as a manager for Bell South until her retirement in 1991 after 30 years. Elaine was married to her loving husband, Anthony, on June 23, 1945.
