Kathryn Swedock, 66, Of Darien
DARIEN, Conn. -- Kathryn (Kathy) Swedock, a resident of Darien, died early Wednesday morning, Dec. 31, from complications of her multiple myeloma. She was 66.
Born on April 20, 1948, in Providence, R.I., Swedock was the daughter of Hubert McGuirl and Eileen (Whelan) McGuirl. Swedock grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from New York University. She met her husband, Theodore (Ted) J. Swedock Jr. in the 1960s while she was learning to ski on Magic Mountain in Vermont, and they were married in 1970. They moved to Darien in the early 1970s and were residents ever since.

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Edward "Bud" Jones of Mamaroneck passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, surrounded by his loving family. He was 87.
Bud was born in Harrison on Dec. 15, 1927. He proudly served his country in the Merchant Marines and later worked for J. Rigano Plumbing in Mamaroneck. He was a member and former exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge 756 in New Rochelle. A Patterson woman was charged with a driving while intoxicated in Southeast on Tuesday, Dec. 30, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.
The three-term N.Y. Gov. Mario Cuomo, father of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, from natural causes due to heart failure.
On Saturday, Jan. 3, snow was expected to hit Putnam County, according to the National Weather service. There was a 50 percent chance of snow with wind chills between 15 and 20.

John Enoch Kellberg, 72, Lifelong White Plains Resident
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- John Enoch Kellberg III died on Jan. 3, 2015. He was 72.
He was born in White Plains, and graduated in 1961 from White Plains High School. He then served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the service, Kellberg worked for Xerox Corp. for more than 40 years. NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Kenneth Tenore, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died suddenly on Jan. 3, 2015. He was 61.
Ken was born in New Rochelle on April 24, 1953 to August and Marie (DeMelia) Tenore. He graduated from Fairfield University and attended Medical School in Italy before becoming a meteorologist. He worked as a meteorologist at several metropolitan airports for many years before retiring, after which he went on to work with his good friends, the DeNardo family, at Palmer Point Marina in Greenwhich, Conn.
