Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Accused Murderer Arrested After 17-Month Investigation, Police Say A 36-year-old man has been arrested after being accused of a 2021 murder, authorities say. Cornell Moore has been charged with first-degree murder after being accused of killing Shabro Meredith, 29, in September 2021, according to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson. Meredith was found shot to death in the 1800 block of North Smallwood Street on Sept. 14, 2021. After collecting evidence, reviewing footage, and interviewing witnesses, police were able to identify Moore as a suspect. Moore is currently being held without bail.
