Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Baltimore Man Walks Around For Hours Before Noticing He'd Been Shot In The Butt, Police Say A Baltimore man is recovering after being shot in the buttocks overnight, police say. Officers from the Baltimore Police Department located the victim in the 200 block of South Gilmore Street while responding to reports of a shooting around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1. Maryland Banker Convicted Of Stealing Nearly $2M From Churches, Religious Institutions: Feds A 29-year-old Maryland man has been convicted of a bank fraud scheme that saw him and his co-conspirators profit to the tune of nearly $2 million, authorities announced. Diape Seck was found guilty after he was accused of the extensive scheme he helped run from 2019 until 2020, according to the Department of Justice. Fights Break Out Across Charles County High School In Between Classes Several Charles County high school students are being investigated after multiple fights took place over a class change, officials say. Numerous Henry E. Lackey High School students reportedly became involved in several altercations across the school in between classes on Monday, Feb. 27, according to the Charles County Sheriff's office. Accused Attacker All Smiles After Being Busted For 2022 Baltimore Shooting A 28-year-old Baltimore man police believe is behind an attack last summer is finally behind bars, authorities say. Antoine Mayo was arrested after Baltimore police identified him as a suspect in the attempted murder of a 55-year-old man in August 2022, according to Baltimore City Police. Residents Alarmed After Bullet Flies Through Walls Of Linthicum Apartment Building Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a shooting after bullet holes were found in an apartment in Linthicum. Glen Burnie Woman Fighting For Life After Being Struck By Car While Walking Dog A woman who was out walking her dog is now fighting for her life after a devastating crash in Glen Burnie.
