Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Toddler's Gas Station Kidnapper Busted After Crashing In Prince George's: Police A man who reportedly kidnapped a 3-year-old child while stealing a vehicle at an Upper Marlboro gas station is behind bars after a lengthy search, police say. An Amber Alert was sent out for Blake Alexander Morgan this week after 18-year-old Ariel Florentino-Galeas stole the vehicle the boy was in from a gas station in the 5300 block of Ritchie Marlboro Road on Thursday, Feb. 23, according to Prince George's County police. Dump Truck Driver Dies, Man Airlifted After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Anne Arundel County: Police One person died and another was airlifted in a multi-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in Anne Arundel County Thursday, Feb. 23, authorities said. A Kenworth dump truck was heading north on Solomons Island Road when a Dodge pick-up truck attempted to turn onto the roadway from Birdsville Road, county police said. Baltimore Teen Shot While Riding Dirt Bike: Police Northeast Detectives are investigating a shooting after a teen checked himself into a Baltimore hospital with gunshot wounds. The 17-year-old boy was reportedly riding his dirt bike in the area of North Calhoun Street around 11 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 23, when he was shot in the leg, according to Baltimore police. Accused Baltimore Murderer In Custody After Years-Long Investigation, Police Say Baltimore Police have arrested a 26-year-old man they say is responsible for a 2019 murder of a 20-year-old man in the city. Melvin Wright is accused of shooting and killing Tavon Travis in the 3600 block of Marmon Avenue on Jan. 9, 2019. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, officers obtained an arrest warrant for Wright, who was taken into custody on Thursday, Feb. 23, in the 6000 block of Green Meadow Parkway, according to Baltimore police. Detectives transported Wright to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with first-degree murder.

Suspects Sought By Police For Gruesome 2021 Baltimore Murder New images have been released of individuals suspected of committing a murder back in 2021, according to Baltimore police. Baltimore police say that the two suspects are accused of shooting two men multiple times in the 5200 block of Belair Road shortly before midnight, June 15, 2021. The shooting left 24-year-old Cyril Lynch dead. Homicide detectives are now seeking the public's assistnace in identifying and locating the suspects after releasing new surveillance photos of the pair. Police Say This Man Attempted To Steal $130K From Fort Washington Bank A mystery man posing as a customer at a Fort Washington bank is wanted after trying to steal a massive amount of cash from an account, police say. Prince George's County police officers released images of the man they say tried to steal $130,000 from an account at the bank located in the 10000 block of Indian Head Highway, on Nov. 22, 2022. Man Found Shot In Takoma Park Apartment Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information connected to a homicide in Takoma Park, authorities announce. Officers located Maurice Chase Jr. 38, in the 6700 block of New Hampshire Avenue after responding to reports of a shooting around 12:40 a.m., Monday, Feb. 20, according to a Prince George's County Police spokesperson.
