Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Young Man Dies After Being Shot Multiple Times In Baltimore, Police Say A 21-year-old man is dead after being shot multiple times in Baltimore, accoding to officials. Baltimore Police officers were called at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1 to the 3300 block of Belair Road after receiving reports of a shooting, a spokesperson for the department said. One Killed After Speeding Car Crosses Center Line Causing Head-On Crash: Baltimore Police Baltimore County Police have identified the driver killed in a head-on crash last month on Philadelphia Road. Noel Ong, 48, was reportedly killed after a 2019 Nissan Altima driving at a high rate of speed crossed into his lane and his vehicle on Tuesday, Feb. 21, county police said.  The crash occurred in the 11900 block of Philadelphia Road around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 21. Police rushed to the scene where they pronounced Ong dead at the scene due to injuries sustained by the impact of the crash. The condition or identity of the driver of the Nissan has not yet been released.
