Driver, 18, Dies Weeks After Fairfax County Crash An 18-year-old driver has died of injuries suffered in a Fairfax County crash on Jan. 2, authorities said. Jose Armando Sanchez Aguilar, of Reston, was heading south on Fairfax County Parkway when he lost control of his 2011 Honda Civic, left the roadway, and struck the sound barrier wall just after 5 a.m., county police said. Sanchez Aguilar was hospitalized with serious injuries and died on Jan. 17, county police said. Homeless Man Found In Vehicle He Tried Stealing In Arlington: Police A 30-year-old homeless man didn't get very far after breaking into and trying to steal a vehicle in Arlington this week, police said. Derrick Smallwood and another suspect were trying to break into a parked vehicle on the 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard around 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17 when police arrived, county authorities said. New Forecast: Increased Snowfall Totals Expected, Arctic Temps To Follow Northeast Storm Newly-released forecast maps show parts of the region could see up to six inches of snow in the end-of-week storm. Intermittent snow is expected to begin between 4 and 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, with the heaviest amounts falling in the afternoon, the National Weather Service said.
