Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called just before 8 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, with reports of a domestic incident in Clifton Park, at the Fox Run Apartments on Huntridge Drive. Police in Albany were called at around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, with reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a car on Clinton Avenue near North Swan Street. Investigators said the victim, 31-year-old Tanisha Brathwaite, of Albany, was pronounced dead at the scene. The manager told 911 dispatchers that a former employee, Benny Dean Jr., age 44, had entered the kitchen area from an alley and told her that he had a gun. Man Tried To Rob People Outside State Capitol, Police Say A man from the region is facing charges after he allegedly tried robbing people near the state Capitol.
