Family Of Lower Makefield Stabbing Victim Speaks Out: 'Taken By A Coward'
The 19-year-old woman stabbed dead by her boyfriend last week in Lower Makefield has been identified by family members. Jaden Battista was identified by her mother, Jeanie Millward, as the victim of the Friday, Feb. 16 murder on Waterford Road. Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Trevor Weigel, of Churchville, according to 6abc. Princeton Student Killed By NJ Transit Train: Officials
A Princeton University student was fatally struck by a train last week, according to officials. James Li (Class of 2027) was struck at the NJ Transit crossing on Faculty Road in Princeton on Friday, Feb. 16, Princeton Vice President for Campus Life W. Rochelle Calhoun said. Princeton University spokesman Michael Hotchkiss said the incident involved the Princeton Dinky, a train operated by New Jersey Transit between Princeton Station and Princeton Junction. Three PA Residents Hurt In Route 78 Crash
Three Pennsylvania residents were hurt, one seriously, in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey, authorities said. A 58-year-old Nazareth, PA man was parked on the right shoulder of the highway around 4:50 a.m. near milepost 39.2 in Warren Township Sunday, Feb. 18, when his vehicle was struck by a Chevrolet SUV, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. Galloway Man Killed By Driver, 29, Who Crossed Center Line In Hamilton Crash: Police
A 62-year-old man was killed in a Route 50 crash Saturday, Feb. 17, authorities said. Thomas Nyers, of Galloway, was heading north on the roadway in Hamilton when 29-year-old James Langlois, of Richland, was heading south in a 2017 Dodge Ram around 6:05 p.m., Hamilton police said. Langlois crossed into the northbound lane of travel hitting Nyers' vehicle south of Old Egg Harbor Road, authorities said. Allentown Shooting Victim ID'd As 33-Year-Old Alburtis Man: Coroner
A 33-year-old Alburtis man was killed in an Allentown shooting over the weekend, officials said. Miguel Steven Dalmasi was shot at the intersection of East Walnut Street at South Dauphin Street around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The manner of death a was ruled a homicide and an autopsy will be completed on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The Allentown Police Department, Lehigh County Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are investigating.

Suspended Driver Arrested In Valentine's Day Nutley Hit-Run That Killed Paterson Man: Cops
An arrest has been made in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a 22-year-old Paterson man and injured another person. Dhkir Robinson, 42, is believed to have been behind the wheel of the vehicle that struck Winston Perlaza and a second victim Wednesday evening, Feb. 14 on Milton Avenue in Nutley, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Nutley Police Chief Thomas Strumolo said. Suspect Killed In Delco Police Shootout: Officials
A suspect was killed in a shootout with a police officer in Delaware County this weekend, police said. A Chester City police officer was shot by the unidentified man around 3:30 p.m. near West 14th Street and Arbor Drive Saturday, Feb. 17, city police said. The officer was recovering at a local hospital and was expected to be released. The suspect was shot and killed. Shock and sadness spread following the death of Freehold resident David J. Kirby on Thursday, Feb. 15. He was 48 years old. David, affectionately known as Dave, was born in Brick Township and died at CentraState Medical Center, according to his obituary. Dave most recently served as the vice president of marketing and advertising for Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD), and worked in radio for many years, his obituary says. Body Of Missing Kayaker Recovered In Susquehanna River: Police
The body of a 44-year-old missing kayaker was found after nearly two days, authorities said. Brenton King was found dead on Sunday, Feb. 18 in the Susquehanna River, according to police in Harrisburg.
