Bayonne Man Accused Of Killing Daughter Dies In Jail: Officials A man accused of killing his daughter died in the Hudson County Correctional Facility last week, authorities said. Errol Brown, 52, of Bayonne, collapsed inside of his cell at the county jail on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m., a spokesperson for the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said. The body of Edward Anthony Nece, whose father lives in Riverside, NJ was identified through DNA samples, Bensalem police announced Monday, Feb. 19. Air Canada Jet To Newark Receives Bogus Midair Threat: Port Authority PD A threat directed toward an Air Canada flight brought a major police presence to Newark Airport Monday, Feb. 19, officials said. Port Authority police and its canine unit responded to EWR Terminal A at around noon after airport police received the report of the threat, a PAPD spokesperson said. The plane landed at EWR Terminal A without incident, and all passengers deplaned safely with no reported injuries.  At 2:52 p.m. PAPD and its canine unit fully cleared the aircraft and normal operations resumed. The incident is under investigation.

Truck Driver, 30, Dies In Fiery NJ Turnpike Wreck A 30-year-old Pennsylvania man died in a fiery crash on the New Jersey Turnpike over the weekend. The unnamed Huntingdon Valley man was behind the wheel of a Volvo bobtail heading south on the Turnpike in Bordentown when it collided with a Volvo semi-trailer around 4:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. The Volvo bobtail traveled off the road, collided with the sound barrier, and became engulfed in flames.  As a result of the crash, the driver died. There were no other injuries reported. The accident remains under investigation.
