Farhad Mansoori, of Woodbridge, met his victim, a woman, on Nov. 10, 2023, police in Prince William County said. The following day, the woman was riding in Mansoori's car when he drove to an area on Touchstone Circle and sexually assaulted her, then dropped her off somewhere else, county police said March 4, 2024. Mansoori has been charged with abduction and sexual battery. He was being held without bond.

Shawn Kimmitz of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said the man, who had tried breaking into a home on Musselman Road around 7 a.m., was captured at Rappahannock Landing in the mid-morning hours. The suspect, whose name was not released, also had a hammer and tried breaking into a car on another block nearby. Additional information is expected to be released.
