Schools Shelter In Place Amid Investigation Into Possibly Armed NJ Student: Cops An investigation into a student who was believed to have been armed with a gun had some schools sheltering in place Friday, March 22, police said. The investigation began around 12:10 p.m., when officers were called to investigate a student "acting suspiciously" at a school in Perth Amboy, local police said. The student was believed to have been headed toward another school looking for another student, police said. The student was taken into custody and was found to not have been armed, police said. The shelter in place was lifted later in the day. The investigation is ongoing.

Attempted Murder For Gunman In Double Baltimore Shooting: Cops A 28-year-old man has been arrested in a double shooting earlier this week in Baltimore, police announced. Wayne Coleman is believed to have shot two men, ages 36 and 24, on the 2300 block of East Hoffman Street on Tuesday, March 19, city police said. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. Due to the critical condition of one victim, Homicide detectives were notified. Coleman was arrested on Thursday, March 21, and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
