Suspicious Death: 3-Year-Old CT Boy Found Lifeless In Home Police say the death of a 3-year-old Connecticut boy who was found unresponsive when police responded to a medical call is considered "suspicious." The child was found in New Haven around 12 p.m., Tuesday, July 25 at a home on Davenport Avenue. 3 Stabbed Outside Restaurant In Region: 38-Year-Old Suspect Nabbed A local man was charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing three men and attempting to stab a fourth outside a restaurant in the region. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 1 a.m., on Sunday, July 23 in the village of Liberty. Police Asking For Help Identifying Man Who Broke Into Stamford Store Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly smashed a window and stole items. The incident took place in Stamford around 11 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at the news and variety store at 332 Hope St. According to Sgt. Sean Scanlan, of the Stamford Police, the man smashed a window and then made entry. He was also seen walking in the area before the crime. Spike In Overdoses Leads To Arrest Of 2 Hudson Valley Fentanyl Dealers, Police Say A spike in the number of overdoses in the Hudson Valley led to the arrest of two residents. The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reported a significant spike in overdoses in the Dutchess County area over this past weekend. Man Falls 15 Feet From Hot Air Balloon At CT Fairgrounds, Police Say A 69-year-old Connecticut man who was volunteering at a hot air balloon event fell 10 to 15 feet while hanging on to the outside of the balloon. The incident took place in New Haven County around 9:40 p.m., Sunday, July 23, in Guilford. Fatal Crash: 32-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Struck By Pickup Truck On Busy Roadway A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man was struck and killed by a 2008 Ford F150 pickup truck on a busy roadway. The crash took place in Rockland County around 11:45 p.m., Monday, July 24 on Route 17 in Ramapo. According to Sgt. Shawn Bakker of the Ramapo Police, the unidentified man was walking along Route 17 when he was struck by the truck driven by a 62-year-old Sloatsburg resident traveling northbound. Fatal Crash: 45-Year-Old CT Woman Hits Car Head-On A 45-year-old Connecticut woman driving a Toyota Corolla was killed after veering into oncoming traffic on Route 2A and hitting a Nissan Altima head-on.
