The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6. All proceeds from the sale directly benefit the library. For sale are a large selection of gift quality books in many categories including: art, fiction, history, current events, gardening, crafts, cooking, and biography. Danbury's Wcsu Opera Ensemble To Present Bernstein's 'Trouble In Tahiti' DANBURY, Conn. – Several local singers will perform in a presentation of Leonard Bernstein’s opera “Trouble in Tahiti” at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury on Saturday, Dec. 5. Samantha Feliciano of Stratford, Sergio Mandujano of Norwalk, and Edwin Rodriguez of New Haven, make up a trio of jazz singers acting as the “Greek chorus” commenting on the one-act opera’s unfolding story.
