Signed Salman Rushdie Books Featured In Westport Library's Holiday Sale WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Library will hold its annual Holiday Book and Gift Sale this weekend. The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6. All proceeds from the sale directly benefit the library. For sale are a large selection of gift quality books in many categories including: art, fiction, history, current events, gardening, crafts, cooking, and biography. Danbury's Wcsu Opera Ensemble To Present Bernstein's 'Trouble In Tahiti' DANBURY, Conn. – Several local singers will perform in a presentation of Leonard Bernstein’s opera “Trouble in Tahiti” at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury on Saturday, Dec. 5. The New York Tenors' Stamford Concert To Benefit Norwalk Charity STAMFORD, Conn. -- The New York Tenors are bringing their Magic of Christmas show to The Palace Theater in Stamford. The world-class trio – made up of “singing policeman” Daniel Rodriguez, famed Irish tenor Andy Cooney and newcomer Christoper Macchio – will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9.
