3 Hospitalized With Likely Heroin Overdoses, Bridgeport Police Say BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Three people were taken to the hospital Monday after they apparently overdosed on heroin at a home in Bridgeport, according to police. Police said they were called to a home on Jefferson Street about 3:30 a.m. when they found the three victims. Naloxone, also known as Narcan, a medication that can reverse the effects of opioids, was used to help them, police said. Police are still investigating, and no further details were available.
