Richard Xu answered all 10 questions correctly to win the tie-breaker round at the New York State Mathematics League Competition in upstate Penfield, the patch.com report said. One the six other Scarsdale students competing, Harry Chalfin, took home the Berman-Rockow award, which is given to the participant who best embodied a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, the patch.com story said. The unidentified pedestrian was struck near the CVS on Maple Avenue. He was attended to by the Croton Emergency Medical Services and Ossining paramedics.
